Small belt conveyors for when space is tight

Our miniature belt conveyor systems are versatile and extremely compact. Mini belt conveyors are used for small parts transport in automated machines with little conveyor space. These very small conveyors have small external DC motors, direct drive, at the drive end. As they are used for transporting mainly small, light parts in applications such as small parts manufacture, food, pharmaceuticals etc. The weight capacities are not high and the speeds are relatively low as standard compared to AC motor driven belt conveyors.

Our own UK built miniature conveyor belt systems are compact and economical. Based on a Valuframe Series5 aluminium profile and using positive belt tracking with 20mm diameter rollers, these conveyors have the following features.

Belt width : From 16mm (20mm wide profile width) to 76mm (80mm wide profile) as standard. Special widths are possible.

Length : From 150mm to 1000mm as standard. Longer lengths possible subject to product being conveyed.

Speed : Nominally 6M/min but can be adjusted with optional variable speed controller.

Weight capacity : Nominally 0.5kg/M but dependent on speed and length - please ask.

Options : Speed control, lateral cleats and side guide options are available, please ask for a quote.

Transformers and controllers will soon be available for variable speed and also for use with AC supply.

These small conveyors have the benefit of very low vibration in operation. These standard miniature belt conveyors are based on aluminium profiles with t-slots for easy mounting and positioning.
