Chain Conveyors.

A chain conveyor offers robust transport for pallets and flat products. Positive drive facilitates high loads on the chains. Some accumulation is possible with the standard duplex or triplex chains. For constant accumulation, the accumulating chain conveyors offer a more reliable solution. 

These accumulating chain conveyors have small plastic rollers intergrated into the chain links. The rollers support the weight of the product above and also allow the chain to keep moving under the pallet, thereby giving near zero pressure accumulation on the chain conveyor.

There is also an accumulating chain conveyor system for heavy duty applications. The heavy duty accumulating chain conveyors have small metal rollers intergrated into the chain links rather than plastic rollers. These metal rollers offer a higher weight capacity.

The low friction wear strip that is used to guide and support the chain can also be used as a riased guide for the pallets as shown below, thereby eliminating the need for side guides. There are several designs for these wear strips and special versions can be specified.
 

The chain conveyor below is a more custom design with 2 lanes working together on an application for large pallet transport. This version has the metal heavy duty acumulating chain and the raised edges on the wear strips to guide the pallets can just about be seen. This application shows two twin lane conveyors on the same framework used to transport heavy pallets. The high sided wear strip to guide the pallets can just about be seen in the photo. Miltiple lanes powered from the same motor can also be specified.
