Dorner's DustPruf conveyors can provide all the integration flexibility of a T-slot frame system without one drawback, the slots that collect dust and other particulates.

The patent pending SmartSlot™ technology is designed into the frame of each DustPruf conveyor. The smooth profile of the SmartSlot virtually eliminates dust collection points without sacrificing the renowned integration and add-on capabilities provided by the T-Slot principle. This is done by covering the slot, thereby removing slots that collect dust or contaminates until you need them. The slots are still there, just hiding!  With these conveyors you don't use slot nuts to attach side guides and other equipment, but self tapping screws that make their own threads in the aluminium profile. The SmartSlot indicator groove tells you where the void behind is, then you use this indicator to fit your self tapping fasteners. 

This new conveying system is ideal for environments where dust, particulates or product debris build up and where constant cleaning just isn’t feasible.
